This was some real down home cookin'. I had the pig feet dinner. Don't judge. The meatiest feet I've ever had. If you don't know, don't worry, you just don't know. The Mac n cheese was to die for and the yams had me lookin for Mom in the kitchen. Mom's gone on.

Good ole fashioned Southern food. I love my chicken wings fried hard with just the right amount of crunch, so good. They have good fried catfish, collard greens, macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes. And you can't forget the cornbread and sweet tea. Place your order ahead so your food will be ready at the time of pick-up or you can enjoy dining in.

Run don't walk to get some of this good good good food. I had smothered pork chops, rice and gravy and Mac n cheese. I ordered hush puppies b/c I knew the muffin was gonna be bad. Boy was I wrong the muffin was D-LICIOUS! It was sweet with a taste of honey maybe....omgoodness. I will be back. Don't disappoint at all!!! Couldn't take a pic...it was too good!

I've been eating from there since they were open. I just recently got food was delicious! Turkey wing platter. Side of greens just added my hot sauce

I grew up in Windsor Mills, so the Randallstown Southern Blues was a frequent place we went to. I've been east for years now, so I was happy to see one here. When I first walked in, I noticed that it smelled the same, which was a great sign. The cashier was nice and funny. The wait was a bit long, which is very normal. I got the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. It was delicious and tasted like the other restaurant, which was very important to me. I'm glad they didn't change a thing.

Delicious, delicious, delicious!! If you are pescatarian or vegetarian , they have seafood and veggie platters so you can enjoy as well! I ordered the blacken catfish, lake trout, cabbage, Mac and cheese, sweet potato pie! They were out of Yams, and just warning the collard greens has meat for the folks that don't eat meat. Each item was perfect! I also ordered their special flavor of the day lemonade for my brother and I, and we both loved it. It was sweet to me, but he loved it. This is a take to go location. There is room inside to stand but no seats. They do also have a parking lot but depending on the time you go, it fills fast. You are probably asking why I am stating it's so delicious but only 4 stars....well the service is up and down. There was a line and the cashier was laughing and talking rather than assisting the customers. Then the pick up area is a bit off. People seem to get confused and the employees are not always able to answer where they are in the line. Those things could definitely improve.

We came across Southern Blues after searching online for great places to eat in Parkville. I am so glad that Southern Blues popped up. The southern style food was outstanding! This restaurant is take out style only. We immediately noticed that Southern Blues was fully staffed to accommodate take out and delivery orders. The full menu was displayed behind the counter area and there were a couple of tables for customers to check their orders for accuracy. I loved the music that was playing as I picked up my takeout orders. The music definitely created a good vibe. The slogan for this place should quote the singer Anthony Hamilton, "Cornbread, fish and collard green I got what you need" because it's the truth. The catfish platter was slappin'. My sides were mac and cheese and collard greens with cornbread. Everything was delicious! And don't get me started about the peach cobbler. It's not a dessert to be shared. It's just way to good! You will truly appreciate this place if you love soul food. You may love this place as much as Martin loves his momma's biscuits.
